Birth Parents

An unplanned pregnancy may result in you feeling scared or worried about the future.  Although you may feel alone, you should know there are experienced professionals available to help and support you during this difficult time. It is also important that you find someone you can trust and that has the knowledge to help you explore your options.

Should you decide that adoption is the best option for you and your child, CAIRS Solutions has the tools to help you throughout the adoption process.

ChildConnect

ChildConnect was designed to maintain the connection between birth parents and adoptive families. There’s no longer the worry about updating your address after each move or fear you’ll lose precious photos of your child.  Birth Parents have easy and lasting access (up to 18 years) to their pictures, letters, emails, etc. sent by the adoptive family.

Birth Parent Survey Site

The Birth Parent Survey Site was designed to elicit real, unbiased experiences from women and men that have gone through the difficult and emotional process of placing a child for adoption.  You are encouraged to rate your experience with your particular agency or attorney and to give critical and helpful feedback, whether positive or negative so others may benefit from this information when selecting an adoption service provider.  Making an adoption plan and placing a child is not easy, and the challenge of this should not be compounded by an unhelpful or unethical agency or attorney

  • The site provides a place to research agencies and attorneys and the services they offer
  • Learn what agencies/firms are available in your area if proximity is important to you
  • Review the experiences of other birth parents with a particular adoption agency/firm
