"Catholic Social Service, a Catholic Charities agency for southwest Kansas, and a state-licensed child-placing agency, has been helping couples to adopt children for more than 45 years. We, too, have begun using parentfinder.com. For us, it is a great way to get our approved adoptive families seen by others for a possible match. We have had great communication with Mike Ferretti and the whole team. They are great to work with and very supportive. Parent Finder is where the adoptive families do an on-line profile with pictures and share information about themselves and their families. You can also go to Parent Finder and look at families without signing in. That is a great feature for someone thinking about making an adoption plan. They also have My Adoption Portal and Child Connect. Child Connect is for after the two families are matched. They can share photos, communicate with each other, and stay in touch better. We use My Adoption Portal more for couples signing up for our adoption program or to get more information regarding adoption. They can view our handouts, complete forms, apply, sign up for our Open Adoption Workshops, and upload all of the information that is required. It is just a great product that helps to match up adoptive families with birth parents."
